Empathy

Link: PsychNotes. I stumbled upon a post on PsychNotes from May 28th entitled Sarcasm and the Brain which reported a study done at Haifa University that showed that those with prefrontal lobe damage were unable to interpret sarcasm in a story becasue they can only understand the literal meaning of a sentence. "The research suggest that even subtle differences in the wiring of this part of the brain can leave people unable to empathise with others."

Interesting as it relates to Aspergers, social cognition and empathy.
