Friday’s St. Louis Bloggers lunch was even better than the last one with the addition of Scott Ginsberg, Matt Homann, and Evan Schaeffer….and Matt had a great expand the concept of lunch idea for next month with the working title of, Soulard Idea Market. More details to follow.
We covered many topic that included blogging and some that did not. Scott Ginsberg, author of The Power of Approachability and Hello My Name is Scott brought his signature nametags for everyone and as you can see from the picture below everyone put one on and took the first step toward approachability. Scott has a new book coming out in July and I think he said the title was How to Become That Guy. Scott, is that correct? I met Scott at the Word of Mouth Marketing Basic Training Conference in January where he gave an awesome keynote address, "How to Invite Customers Onto Your Front Porch." There is another Word of Mouth Conference coming up on June 20-21st in San Francisco…check it out!
Actually Randy Holloway and Matt Homann are the only two St. Louis Bloggers I met in St. Louis; .Michelle, Dennis and George I met in Chicago at BlawgThink! 2005, the really cool unconference that Matt and Dennis put together in November, 2005.
It was great to see Michelle Golden, Randy Holloway, Dennis Kennedy and George Lenard in addition to Matt, Scott and Evan. Unfortunately, I didn’t really get a chance to talk to Dennis and Randy who were at the opposite side of the table…next month at Soulard.Tags: Scott Ginsberg, Michelle Golden, Matt Homann, George Lenard, Randy Holloway, Evan Schaeffer, St. Louis bloggers, Blogs, Blogging, Soulard Market, Marianne Richmond, WOMMA, WOMBAT2, WOMBAT, BlawgThink2005
